Digital Reloader Installation Instructions:

1. After downloading Digital Reloader, double click on the digital_reloader.zip file and unzip the application to a new folder on your hard drive.  Make sure that this unzip to location is not the folder you are going to install the software to.
2. After unzipping the files, find the folder where they are and double click on setup.exe. This will start the installation.
3. Depending on whether or not your system is up-to-date, Digital Reloader may need to reboot your system.  If Digital Reloader needs to reboot to update your system you will need to run setup.exe a second time to finish the installation.
4. When the installation is complete, we need to set up the Reload database ODBC connection.  To do this:
   

1. Go to Start – Settings – Control Panel and click.
2. Find the entry that says, ODBC Data Sources (32bit) and double click.
3. You will then be show the User DSN tab, click Add on the right hand side of the form.
4. Microsoft Access Driver should be selected, click Finish at the bottom.
5. In the Data Source Name enter:  reload
6. Find the Select Button and click on it.
7. Go to where you installed Digital Reloader, if you accepted the default installation directory this will be:  C:/Program Files/Digital Reloader.
8. In the Database Name column, you should see reload_97.mdb, click on it to select it.
9. Click OK.
10. Click OK again.
11. And finally click OK to close this last form
    

5. You should now be ready to run Digital Reloader without any problems.

NOTE:

            If you have installed Microsoft Access 2000, DO NOT open the reload_97.mdb database with Access.  Digital Reloader will not work if the database has been opened in Access 2000 at this time.  If you accidentally open the reload_97.mdb in Access 2000, you must download a new empty reload_97.mdb from www.digitalreloader.com and all your current load information will be lost.
